It started with dinner at Alessandra's, my birthday spot which quickly became one of our favorites in this sweet town. On those nights when we want to get out but don't want to go far, this is it. And Tony plays the piano on the weekends, so that makes it even more lovely.
Saturday we slept in (yay!) and headed downtown after lunch. We stopped for frozen yogurt (chocolate with strawberries and walnuts for me, vanilla with granola and Heath bar for him) and wandered around on the shady sides of the street. Charleston is the.most.beautiful.town. In case you didn't know.
Then we decided to try and find a place to cool off and maybe watch part of the football game. This is Andrew, happy that it's football season:
We found a great place that overlooked East Bay St (and you could see the water) so we ordered a drink and waited for the game.
Then we found out that they didn't have ESPN-U, which is the channel that was carrying the UNC game, and Andrew was shocked:
We ended the day with a walk around the block with our beloved canine and wrapped things up with lots of football/crafting on Sunday. Good times were had by all.
There you have it, folks. A weekend in the life :)
Love the blog's new look! Super cute.
